Wayne is an outstanding competitive surfer, accumulating several Queensland titles before becoming Australian Champion in 1980. In the same year he came 2nd in the World Titles behind Tom Curren.
He has been with Mt Woodgee for 20 years and has developed a well earned reputation as one of the finest surfboard craftsmen in Australia. Wayne shapes and designs for top ASP contender and Boost Mobile Pro Champion - the hard-charging Bede Durbidge.
